I teach at the students pace and according to the students needs whilst maintaining the integrity and accuracy essential to a quality Tai Chi.
As well as a focus on the health benefits of Tai Chi and QiGong, I provide an understanding of the original purpose of the movements in order to give the structure of the movements the correct form. Beginner students wishing to learn Tai Chi Chuan as a martial art will gain access to the skills needed to join the advanced class.
I am a qualified instructor member of the Tai Chi Union of Great Britain having studied at the Lancaster School of Tai Chi Chuan since 2010. I study daily under the guidance of the Master Instructor who teaches the advanced classes.
Studies include the Classsical Yang Style long form, Yang Lu Chan form, MMA groundwork and grappling, Da Lu, Small San Sau, Push Hands, QiGong, along with written studies of Tai Chi Classics and modern Western medical studies.
My aim is for the student to leave a class feeling invigorated and with renewed energy. I give simple exercises to practice in small bursts throughout the week to maintain and cultivate this feeling of well being; providing you with effective skills to alter and improve your everyday living. You will be learning a complete and holistic self-defence for mind, body and spirit.
