I qualified as a Psychodynamic Counsellor with WPF Therapy in London, a leading therapy training institution. I work in private practice in south Cumbria and north Lancashire. I have worked as a Specialist Psychological Therapist in the NHS and also for an independent hospice.
I am a professional member of the Foundation for Psychotherpy and Counselling (FPC), am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I abide by the ethical framework of these professional bodies.
I have degrees from Exeter and Cambridge Universities and an MA in Psychoanalytic Studies from Roehampton University. I also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Adult Bereavement from Middlesex University.
